emoji of happy face with party hat and streamersImagine having a painful injury or deteriorating joints but not needing medications or surgery to repair or replace your body parts!

SoftWave therapy has been successful in treating common conditions associated with joint deterioration, as well as dance, athletic, and other injuries, quickly, easily, and affordably. That’s what we’re going to talk about today; and, near the end, I’ll introduce you to the wonderful chiropractor who taught me about it.

Note: sometimes, I hear people use the terms ShockWave or StemWave when referring to SoftWave Therapies. Shock wave technology has been around for many years, but there are more recent innovations.

  • SoftWaveTRT (the company) provides a “next generation” tool by developing a better way to advance tissue healing and regeneration in the healthcare fields of orthopedics, traumatology, wound care, aesthetics, and urology.
  • SoftWave technology currently is used at leading national and international research, medical, and chiropractic centers.

When you see the equipment used and the process, you will know whether these terms are referring to the same technology. Next, let’s see how it is described on “The Doctors” tv show.

What Are SoftWave Treatments Like?

They are FDA-approved therapies that do not require disrobing and are non-invasive.

They are:

  • Adjustable in terms of the intensity of each application
  • Designed for rebuilding collagen and elastin, while strengthening blood vessels
  • Developed similarly to the acoustic wave technology used to break up kidney stones, but with lower intensity settings
  • Done in ten minutes or less
  • Helpful in restoring pain-free activity without medications
  • Part of a comprehensive treatment plan or might be done as “stand-alone” sessions
  • Placed on the specific area of the body where help is needed.
  • Useful in quickening post-surgical recovery

How Well Does SoftWave Technology Work?

Over 80% of patients report a 10-20% improvement after only one treatment. Everyone’s body is different, so results vary. Some people simply heal faster than others, based on multiple variables. Most patients report a restore to health rate of 60-80%+ after a full course of treatment, which averages between six and ten treatment sessions. For major issues, your practitioner may advise that 15 – 20 treatments are beneficial.

How Does It Work?

SoftWave technology uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate your body’s own healing response to injury, whether acute or chronic. A little gel is placed on the part of your body where treatment will be given.

Then, the SoftWave Therapy device delivers the sound wave pulses to painful and injured areas of the body. These stimulate and improve your own healing capability by enhancing blood circulation and your body’s stem cells to regenerate damaged tissue.

The treatment creates a “micro-trauma” (like a little injury) which causes the body’s immune system to “kick in” and supply stem cells that race to the affected area to decrease pain and inflammation.

Practitioners can use SoftWave Therapy to treat chronic pain anywhere in the body, acute injuries such as strains and fractures, tendinitis, and wounds/scars.
