The Chi Machine

Six Major Functions of the Original Sun Ancon Chi MachineThumbs Up

“The Chi Machine” was created by Dr. Shizuo Inoue, Director of Oxygen Association, in Japan, after 38 years of research to ensure effectiveness, safety, and beneficial effects on the body. There are cheap imitations, but the original is the safest and only true, properly calibrated, well-made Chi Machine, and it has 27 patents.

What follows is a rather technical description of how using the chi machine may contribute to improving your health. If you would rather read my ancient testimonial (I’ve been using this machine for YEARS), click on the link in this sentence. Otherwise, by all means, let’s see what it can do for you by reading on…..

What Are the Six Major Functions?

Don’t forget to drink lots of water before and after use!

Don’t forget to lie still for 2 or 3 whole minutes after use.

Don’t forget to do the spinal stretches after you lie there in stillness for a couple of minutes.

The Chi Machine and Cellular Activation

shaking hands with a person in a wheelchairYou don’t have to be wheel-chair bound for the chi machine to be very beneficial. You can be perfectly health, or pretty healthy, like most of us.

First, think of conditions like bronchitis, asthma, or simply the shallow breathing that most of us do ~ especially when under stress. Think also of slow metabolism and stress release. Then, picture yourself lying on the floor, with your ankles in the chi machine cradle, being gently swung back in forth in a medically tested and approved fashion, while you relax (and, perhaps, listen to your favorite music).

  1. When the sympathetic nervous system (keeper of “the fight/flight response) is stimulated by the massaging motion of the chi machine, the bronchioles* open to give maximum oxygen to the lungs. In other words, you can breathe more deeply and can expel more toxins and waste in the process of breathing out more fully.
  2. Blood flow to and from the lungs also is increased, which helps the oxygen exchange from lungs, to blood, and to body cells.
  3. bubble figure running against red backgroundThis increases metabolism, which, as we all know affects things like energy, burning of fat, and so much more.
  4. A great benefit if using the chi machine is that it provides the equivalent of walking or running without the need to leave the home.

*The bronchioles or bronchioli are the passageways by which air passes through the nose or mouth to the alveoli (air sacs) of the lungs, in which branches no longer contain cartilage or glands in their submucosa.

The Chi Machine and Spinal Balancing

Neck PainWhen you are lying on your back, and your feet and ankles are raised (by having your ankles on the cradle rests), the distribution of body weight is optimal for corrections to the spine and vertebrae when they have been misaligned.

I also have found it very useful in correcting or eliminating neck pain, which is very useful after I’ve been hunched over a computer all day.

The Chi Machine and Improving the Immune System

Smiley Face laughingImprovement is accomplished not only by the oxygenation and fluid movement processes, but also by stimulating the production of globulin. Globulin is in human blood plasma. It contains antibodies that protect the body against diseases.

Of course, I know of other products that vastly improve immune system function; but this article is not about them! Chirp! Chirp! Ask me, if you’re interested.

The Chi Machine and Stimulating the Sympathetic Nervous System

and Bone Marrow Blood Production

Did you know that blood is produced in the spleen and spinal bone marrow? When the spleen is damaged, there can be a reduction of blood produced by the spleen; but the chi machine’s massaging effect on the spine can increase blood from that source. This can be very beneficial for conditions related to anemia.

The Chi Machine and Restoring Balance to the Autnomic Nervous System

Figure balancing spinning platesThe parasympathetic system is responsible for stimulation of “rest-and-digest” or “feed and breed”[2] activities that occur when the body is at rest, especially after eating, including sexual arousal, salivation, lacrimation (tears),urination, digestion and defecation.

When your parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems are imbalanced, you may suffer from:

  • Insomnia
  • Excessive Dreaming
  • Digestive Problems
  • Pain
  • Anxiety
  • Palpitations

The chi machine can help restore you to balance, and you often may feel a reduction or complete removal of such symptoms.

The Chi Machine and Exercising Intern Organs While Building “Chi”

“Chi” is the Chinese word used to express the concept of “Life Force Energy,” which flows in channels through all living beings. The Chi Machine helps to unblock and to stimulate the chi for the purpose of restoring or improving the normal function of the body and its organs.
