From Grief to Relief – How to Get There

How Can You Go From Grief to Relief?

Adapt, Reframe, Plan – Then Find and Feel Relief

To go from grief to relief, adaptation clearly is critical to our success. The New Year is upon us, bringing continued threats of an ongoing pandemic, inflation, losing or changing employment, and even the potential of a world war as Russia threatens further invasion of Ukraine. That’s the global view. In addition, most of us have personal challenges that may include the death of a loved one.

What is a person to do to stay sane and productive? How can one acquire or maintain the good mental health that is so important for physical health? Let’s get personal.

Going from Grief to Relief May Involve Reframing

It can start with reframing your outlook or understanding of things that have happened to you, as you navigate forward. We’ll offer an extreme example and then an all-too-common life challenge. Unleash Creativity | Chakras & Haiku Poetry

Haiku and Chakras – who would have thought of them in combination? I would, of course!

I loved learning about each one, albeit years apart!

CREATIVITY – THE CHAKRA CRUTCH DESCRIBED IN HAIKU

Nancy (Ayanna) Wyatt headshot

I’m about to teach you how I psyched myself up to access my creativity – by using chakras as the foundation for Haiku poetry – when I had to write “upbeat” pieces of work for publication right after having to Euthanize another (the third during the pandemic) of my pets who had been with me for eighteen years. You also can overcome grief, physical pain, or “just being stuck,” by employing these techniques – with or without the poetry.

Speaking in Haiku ~

crying

I was not smiling.

I felt paralyzed with grief.

I colored myself.

You will understand that last line better if you read (below) about Haiku and see the last poem.

As a holistic healing practitioner, I was blessed to know techniques that can be used to overcome grief and/or to tap into your imaginative mind for solving problems. You, too, can get “unstuck” in all areas of creativity, or household and business projects, and even health and emotional well-being, by learning about these chakra techniques. Most can be done anywhere in any circumstances. The Haiku is optional!

First let’s learn some definitions of Chakras and Haiku for those who don’t already know. Then, I’ll describe some simple tools you can use as relates to chakras.

If you want to learn LOTS more, then we can schedule this topic as a private session or as one of the classes I can teach to individuals or groups. Just sayin’ ….

Loneliness Can Cause Health Issues. A Fun Fix!

Loneliness – Are You Too Lonely or Just Right Lonely?

resting on a innertube in rough waters lonelinessEveryone experiences loneliness at some point in life. That is natural, but when is it a problem?

First, let’s define it. A person can be alone without being lonely. There is great freedom in that!

My thought is that loneliness comes in two primary forms. You may be feeling lonely because of the absence of someone else, or you might feel loneliness because of the absence of connection with your true Self!

A quick web search yielded these definitions.

1. affected with, characterized by, or causing a depressing feeling of being alone.
2. destitute of sympathetic or friendly companionship…support
3. lone; solitary; without company; companionless.

Why Should You Care About Prolonged Feelings of Loneliness?
