How I Used Holistic Wellness Methods to Reverse 2 Negative Test Results on Potential Heart Issue

Nancy (Ayanna) Wyatt increased her heart health using holistic healing measures 2025Heart Health approaches vary, and I used several tools as I wanted to “fix it fast” when I had a negative EKG. I am sharing what I tried in no particular order, as I used them simultaneously and don’t know which one was the most effective. They range from using various technologies to changing dietary habits to doing specific easy Tai Chi exercises. Roughly, the categories are:

Heart Health – Cardiovascular Disease

Incidentally, I wrote a blog about this long before I knew I would have a negative heart health test result. If you want general information, Click Here for that content. On the other hand, if you simply want to know what I did that seems to have given me positive test results in a CT Heart Angiogram, keep reading below.

PHYSICAL MOVEMENTS WITH AND WITHOUT EQUIPMENT

Chest Massage – I Did It But …

I’ll mention this, but unlike with the other modalities, I’ll not recommend it to you, and I’ll tell you why.

I used a small massage machine, intended for use on the lower back while one sits in a chair, to do chest massage. My thinking was that it might help plaque move through the arteries and veins to dissipate. My hope was this would prevent the cardiologist from deciding I would need a stint.

However, I learned later that a friend of mine – on the opposite side of the country – had the same idea for her condition, only to be advised by her doctor that plaque could form clots that massaging would move into the brain, potentially resulting in a stroke. I didn’t know that until AFTER I had a good test result this last time!

Conclusion: I don’t know what role, if any, that kind of massage had in helping me create good test results, but I have discontinued the practice, and I advise you not to do it.

As with all things, consult with your healthcare provider IN ADVANCE of trying new methodologies and for medical advice. I do not diagnose, treat, or recommend any treatments. I’m merely sharing my personal experience with you.

Heart Health Approach #1 ~ Acupressure & Tai Chi Combinations

Hands - in Tai Chi for heart health - photo by Avelino Calvar Martinez on Pixabay

I chose specific Acupressure and Tai Chi movements that anyone can do while sitting at work, watching television, listening to an audiobook, or relaxing. The movements address specific organs and health issues. These require no equipment and little exertion.  They seem to be very effective. You won’t be trying to stand on one leg like a heron in a swampland. Nor will you be doing salutations to the sun while trying not to tip over. So, give it a shot! It’s easy and worthwhile.

Instead, this involved lots of hand and finger movements rubbing various acupuncture points on meridians plus slapping the hands on body parts in areas where there are meridians for the heart and other organs.

I follow several Tai Chi Masters, but the one who has taught me the most online is Tai Chi Zidong. Typically, I get the lessons from his various social media accounts; but, given current politics, I might disengage from some of them. Thus, the link goes to the Taichi.Zidong website.

However, this next link will take you to his Instagram account, where he currently has two million followers. https://www.instagram.com/taichi.zidong.ins/ You’ll see many of the exercises that I did for my heart (digestion, asthma, and more) there.

According to the website, he is the inheritor of Wudang Sanfeng Sect. His Taoist name is Zidong.
The Wudang Sect originated from Patriarch Zhang Sanfeng and has been passed down for six hundred years. It is famous for Internal martial arts in China.

Tai Chi Exercises Correlate With Mental and Emotional Conditions in the Body.

That’s very useful because, when you know you are grieving or angry about something, and you know the correlation with various organs and functions, it helps you choose wisely which exercises to do and what foods may be helpful.

For example, here is an excerpt from my blog about fingernail analysis for health conditions.
What to Look For in Medicine and Alternative Medicine Viewpoints

Your fingers (or “digits”) reflect conditions in various organs and body systems, as follows.

Thumb: brain, excretory system, and reproductive organs.
Index Finger: liver, gallbladder, and the nervous system.
Middle Finger: heart and circulation.
Ring Finger: reproductive organs and the hormonal system.
Little Finger: digestive system.

Now, let’s match that up with Louise Hay’s list of what each finger signifies. She says fingers represent the “details of life.” She offers affirmations to help you address these issues as relate to your own life.

Thumb: intellect and worry
Index Finger: ego and fear
Middle Finger: Anger and sexuality
Ring Finger: unions and grief
Little Finger: family and pretending

Heart Health Approach #2 ~ Stationary Bike

Woman on stationary bike pedaling for heart health. AI by Nancy Wyatt

I used my stationary bike at least once a day with at least 100 revolutions for each foot. That’s not very impressive unless you know how much my knee is damaged and hurts. I chose that number because Eastern Medicine suggests walking 90 steps after each meal helps with digestion. So, I upped it a bit and now make the equivalent of 100 steps with each foot before I stop. If I can do more, I do. Sometimes, I ride the bike more than once a day to get oxygen, lymph fluid, and blood flowing better through my body.

Heart Health Approach #3 ~ Use of the Chi Machine to Oxygenate the Body

Sun Ancon Chi machine helps with circulation and heart health

The cardiologist told me that I had an issue causing both my heart and brain to receive insufficient oxygen. In a way, it was not a surprise, because – when I am concentrating on something (like writing this blog) – I forget to breathe, and the breaths become very shallow.

Given that my knee issue prevents me from doing most aerobic exercises, I had the perfect answer! My CHI MACHINE, which I’ve used for years, and that you might remember from The Doctors show on television.

FACTOIDS

Katsuzo Nishi was a Japanese Engineer who was responsible for building the Tokyo subway system back in the 1920’s. He was also very knowledgeable about health, and developed a self-help system that is still practiced today by people in Japan and other countries.

One of the principles Nishi taught was based on the realization that human beings face a great challenge in maintaining health because of our erect posture which puts strains on our internal organs and bone structure. So, he taught Kingyo Undo” or Goldfish Exercise. It creates a fish-like motion through the spinal column to stimulate circulation and energy flow through the body. (See this super short video by an Aikido Master: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XER1_GNwEUs.)

In Japan, Dr Shizuo Inoue had the idea of using a machine to easily create a fish-like motion through the spine. It helps with oxygenation and muscle massage. Keiichi Ohashi created one in the early 1990’s. This was the original “Chi Machine” – though the Japanese did not use this name.

Dr. Shizuo Inoue was the President of the Oxygen Health Association and the director of the Japan Health Association and spent the majority of his life promoting the theory that related good health with oxygen. Dr. Inoue believed that “Oxygen deficiencies were the cause of many chronic diseases.” This belief is what drove him to create the Sun Ancon Chi Machine Passive Aerobic Exerciser, which now is sold throughout the world.

The chi machine oxygenates the body, and people who cannot or will not exercise find it useful. Why?

The user simply lies down with their ankles on the machine, and it does all the work!

Note: 5 minutes on the chi machine is equivalent to a half-hour walk.

chi machine demo

  • I used the Chi Machine for 35 minutes per session.
  • Since I already was lying down, I took advantage of that time to place a Red Light Therapy device over my face to get its benefits as well.
  • Note: I use the chi machine more often to soothe hurting back muscles after I move heavy things. In effect, it also gives the internal organs a massage. It is highly energizing and has many additional benefits.

Full Disclosure: Yes, I do sell it, as well as having used it for many years. Click Here to learn more or ask me about it.

USE OF SPECIFIC FREQUENCIES (HERTZ)

B) Sound Wave Energy Healing CDs by Nicole LaVoie

A) The Healy

I could give you a PhD thesis about Healy, but I won’t. Suffice it to say that it is a wonderful device. It’s about the size of a cracker and connects to programs that emit frequencies (Hertz) needed for perfect calibration of various organs and more. Every organ and tissue in the body has an individual frequency that can get out of kilter with injury, illness, or things like emotional states. I used programs for heart health, circulation, and several more.

Healy is FDA Cleared Class II medical device

Full Disclosure: I can sell this product, but I don’t attempt to. I am more likely to offer healing sessions that utilize the technology along with other modalities I use.

B) Nicole LaVoie Created Sound Wave Energy CDs for Healing

She was an amazing person, and I am fortunate to have purchased almost all her CD collections before they became rarely available. This is not music. It’s more like individual static sounds in specific patterns. Again, every organ and tissue in the body has an individual frequency. When the body is injured or ill, those frequencies get “out of tune.” It’s like when a singer is “off-key.” Nicole individually crafted each CD and attuned them to the perfect resonance of health in each category. For this project (reversing my negative heart function tests), I played the CDs that relate to heart and circulation, letting the sounds run all night on a looped repeat cycle.

Click to see a video of her describing a near-death experience, from which she awoke with the ability to create these frequencies to help people throughout the world.

She published Return to Harmony in 1996. Many medical practitioners and scientists believe sound and other frequency healing are the primary healing tools of the future. Occasionally, I see the CDs for sale on places like https://www.ebay.com/itm/326419211337 or from private collections.

No, I won’t sell or loan mine. Chirp! Chirp!

Wellness Approach #5  ~

Red Light & Narrow Light Medwave Therapy

I was aware of Red Light therapy and have used it for other goals, but I tried using it twice between the tests I had to undergo for heart health. I do not know if this is one of the things that contributed to my improved results, but it might be, given how it works.

Catch the Wave to Wellbeing with Medwave’s Revolutionary Narrow Light Technology

For my heart health project, I went to my beloved chiropractor, who has “The BIG Machine” for maximum results. I have home red light equipment and wrote a blog about it, as well as my chiropractor’s business. To learn much more, Click Here and read that blog.

TIME OUT:

I Asked ChatGPT About What I’m Doing for Heart Health

Here is the reply.

  1. Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation):
    • Improved Heart Function: Studies suggest that red light therapy (RLT) may enhance cardiac function. A 2022 study published in Photomedicine and Laser Therapy found that RLT using red light (630 nm) improved cardiac function and reduced heart size in mice with heart failure.
    • Reduced Blood Clot Formation: Recent research indicates that exposure to long-wavelength red light significantly reduced blood clot formation in both mice and human studies. Red light was associated with lower inflammation and reduced clot-promoting mechanisms.
  2. Chi Machine (Passive Aerobic Exerciser):
    • Enhanced Blood Circulation: The Chi Machine promotes a gentle, swaying motion that stimulates blood circulation and oxygenation throughout the body. This increase in blood flow helps nourish cells and may support cardiovascular health.
    • Stress Reduction: Regular use of the Chi Machine has been associated with relaxation and stress reduction, which are beneficial for heart health.
  3. Tai Chi and Qigong:
    • Improved Cardiovascular Fitness: These ancient Chinese practices involve slow, deliberate movements and deep breathing. A recent study demonstrated that practicing qigong and tai chi, combined with meditation, is effective in reducing back pain and may improve overall cardiovascular health.
    • Blood Pressure Reduction: Engaging in tai chi has been shown to help lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease.
  4. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):
    • Blood Pressure Reduction: New research suggests that just five minutes of high-intensity exercise per day can significantly lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease. Short bursts of activities like cycling or taking the stairs can lead to meaningful improvements in blood pressure.
  5. Exposure to Intense Light:
    • Vascular Protection: Research has found that intense light exposure amplifies a specific gene that bolsters blood vessels, offering protection against heart attacks. This suggests that controlled light exposure may benefit cardiovascular health.

Before starting any new therapy or exercise regimen, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare provider, especially if you have existing health conditions or are taking medications. While these natural remedies can support heart health, they should complement, not replace, conventional medical treatments.

FOOD & DRINKS
Heart Health Approach #6 – Changing Food and Drink Habits

I have had a “Sweet Tooth” all my life, to the detriment of good eating habits. Ayurvedic medicine states we need to have daily doses of the following tastes: Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Astringent, and Pungent. Truthfully, I like only sweet and salty. But I know that some of those other flavors are in foods needed for heart health. Therefore, comma, I asked ChatGPT about it, and the answer matched what I know from other research.

I’ll share just two with you now: pomegranate juice and chia seeds…both of which are alleged to be more effective than green tea for my purposes.

Heart Health Approach #6 Continued ~ CHIA SEEDS!

chia seeds in yogurt with strawberries for heart health - photo by Omi Sida on Pixabay

Somewhere, I saw a “blurb” that indicated eating a batch of chia seeds three times a day would cure us of heart blockages in a week!

Regardless of whether that is true, I decided to try it, because I had a deadline to meet. Of course, I had no way to document whether it worked, but who cares? This might be what made the difference. Who knows?

I ate about a teaspoon full of  chia seeds 3 X a day in yogurt, salad, omelet, or “whatever.”

Then, I got good test results from a CT Heart Angiogram, which shows the presence or absence of plaque in the blood vessels.

So, What Else Are Chia Seeds Good For?

Today, I decided to ask ChatGPT about it, since I could not remember where I had read about it previously. This is the response.

Eating chia seeds three times a day can provide numerous health benefits due to their rich nutritional profile. Here’s what you can gain from consistent consumption:

1. Enhanced Digestive Health 🌿

  • Rich in fiber (10g per 2 tbsp) promotes regular bowel movements and prevents constipation.
  • Acts as a prebiotic, feeding beneficial gut bacteria.
  • Forms a gel-like consistency in the stomach, aiding digestion and reducing bloating.

2. Sustained Energy & Blood Sugar Balance ⚡

  • Slows down carbohydrate digestion, preventing blood sugar spikes and crashes.
  • Great for diabetics due to its ability to regulate glucose absorption.

3. Heart Health & Cholesterol Control ❤️

  • High omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) reduce inflammation, cholesterol, and blood pressure.
  • Helps lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and increase HDL (good cholesterol).

4. Weight Management & Appetite Control 🥗

  • The fiber and protein content increase fullness and reduce cravings.
  • Forms a gel in the stomach that expands and slows digestion, preventing overeating.

5. Bone Strength & Joint Health 🦴

  • Rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and boron, essential for strong bones.
  • Reduces inflammation in joints, making it beneficial for arthritis.

6. Improved Skin & Hair Health ✨

  • Antioxidants fight free radicals, reducing aging signs.
  • Omega-3s nourish hair follicles, leading to stronger, shinier hair.

7. Detoxification & Anti-Inflammatory Benefits 🌱

  • Helps flush out toxins from the digestive system.
  • Reduces chronic inflammation, linked to many diseases.

Before starting any new supplement regimen, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare provider, especially if you have existing health conditions or are taking medications. While natural remedies can support heart health, they should complement, not replace, conventional medical treatments.

Heart Health Approach #8 – Drinking Clay

Bottle of Liquid Clay

I did do this. See my blog about health benefits. However, the scientific research on whether it helps clear plaque in the blood vessels is unclear, so I’m not recommending it here. In addition, clay will remove medications, as well as bacteria, viruses, metals, and other foreign objects, so it must not be used if you are taking pharmaceutical drugs.

Wellness Approach #9 – Deep Breathing Exercises

The first two tests of my heart indicated an issue causing insufficient oxygen to reach my heart and brain. So, I spent some time (when I remembered) doing some deep breathing exercises, including holding my breath after the inhale and the exhale.

Somewhere in this vale of tears, known as my oft-flooded basement, is a book about many breathing techniques. I dunno where it is. However, I tried a few that I can remember. Regardless of whether it helped my heart, it did increase the oxygen flow to my brain and throughout the body for those few minutes! We all should do this as often as we can remember to do so.

Heart Health Approach #10 ~ Invoking Divine Powers

That, My Dears, is self-explanatory. Some call it prayer, some call it meditation, and some make supplication to specific Divine Entities. I did what I did and could feel the difference. I also engaged my beloved friend and Reiki Master, Sarojini Alva, Ph.D. to give me a long-overdue Reiki session. She reminded me to perform Reiki on myself as well. Isn’t she gorgeous?! Her spirit is even more beautiful!

Sarojini (Sara) Alva Changkakoti, Ph. D, the Reiki Master who gave me a session for heart health

Bonus Wellness Approach – Paying Attention to Birdsong

I don’t do this on purpose, but I feed birds, so I see and hear them a couple of times each day. If you don’t know about the connection between health and birdsong, check out this link. https://www.facebook.com/reel/2449205052094194

As you can see, several of these heart health remedies have many benefits for other conditions and can make a great contribution to basic wellness. Let me know if you try some of these things for healing the heart or other aspects of body, mind, spirit, and emotions. I’d love to hear from you.
