Get Out of the Weeds!
Outsourcing is possible in ways many of us never imagine. This video shares ideas about free and cheap things solopreneurs and small businesses can do. If implemented, the business owner can spend more time concentrating on the things only (s)he can do and the talents that only (s)he has. For example, a Reiki Master practitioner could spend more time healing and less time in accounting, marketing, and other administrative chores.
In the video, I mention Shoeboxed as a company that will take all your receipts via snail mail and organize them into a spreadsheet, making it easy for you to transfer the information into accounting and record-keeping systems. After Shoeboxed receives your receipts, it scans, categorizes, and renders them usable for an audit of your records. I’ve used this company, and it was wonderful, so I want to ensure you have the link to that company. https://www.shoeboxed.com/.
What if You Are a “Control Freak?”
Of course, some of us like to control when and how tasks are accomplished. We also think, “If you want something done right, do it yourself.”
On the other hand, we become subject to “burn out,” and there is insufficient time to accomplish everything that needs to be done in a timely manner. So, outsourcing is an option. Just be aware of pros and cons. CIO has done an analysis for you.
