Meet Your Self Nutrition Is The Topic For May!
Eat and Live With Joy!
I’m sure you have heard the truthful expression, “You ARE what you EAT.” Whether your interests lie in losing weight, solving health issues, or becoming an Olympic athlete, this class is for you!
On May 17th, at 3:30 and at 6:30, our guest presenter at Meet Your Self! is Jenn Young, a certified nutritionist, who has some very important information to share with us.
We’ll learn what foods are known for their natural healing properties and should be eaten regularly, as well as what foods should be completely avoided in order to prevent health complications. WebMD describes a couple of those complications, which might be very familiar to you. Here are two examples.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome ~ Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a disorder of the intestines. It causes belly pain, cramping orbloating, and diarrhea or constipation. IBS is a long-term problem, but there are things you can do to reduce your symptoms.
“Leaky Gut Syndrome,” about which WebMD reports, “Leaky gut syndrome” is said to have symptoms including bloating, gas, cramps, food sensitivities, and aches and pains. But it’s something of a medical mystery.”
Jenn also works with young athletes who are aspiring to be Olympians, and she teaches their families about proper food combining for strength and resilience.
If you can join us, at Blossomforth, in Manassas, VA, please RSVP at the Meet Your Self website and choose the afternoon or evening session. (Each Meet Your Self session lasts two hours.) Here is the Meet Your Self link.
