Things I Appreciate About Me ~ A Self-Love Exercise

People of all ages, genders, ethnicities and socio-economic status often excel at self-criticism, sometimes to the point of self-abuse. We say things to and about ourselves that we would find totally unacceptable if we said them to someone else.

That negativity accelerates in times of loneliness or when we face challenging problems. It would be more productive, healing, and pleasant if we were to simply accept and love ourselves. As Wayne Dyer said in one of his quotable quotes, “Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.” — Wayne Dyer 

So, let’s start with spending a few minutes in thoughtful answers to the following questions. This is a little questionnaire I use in some of my classes about self-healing and personal growth. (Contact me for more info.)

What is the Difference Between Transpersonal

Hypnotherapy and HypnoMeditations?

Transpersonal Hypnotherapy

Transpersonal Hypnotherapy is a counseling or coaching technique which focuses on the spiritual components of an emotional, mental, or physical challenge, not just on the “daily life, daily maintenance” aspects.

A session provides an opportunity for us to meet to discuss something you want to explore or change in your life. Then, we’ll experience a relaxed, focused meditation that is customized to help you overcome a problem we identified or to expand into new ways of thinking and growing. People usually choose to schedule one or more follow-up appointments to reinforce what they’ve learned or to address additional areas of interest. HypnoMeditation

A HypnoMeditation is a customized is a meditation video or PowerPoint download, using Transpersonal Hypnotherapy techniques for self-hypnosis and habit change. You can enhance the effectiveness by listening daily or right before sleeping for several days. They may be short or long, but they often run about twenty (20) minutes.
