Hello, People! Let’s talk about Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and HypnoMeditation!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I Can’t Meditate or Be Hypnotized?
News Flash. The meditative and hypnotic states are one in which the brain operates in certain degrees of slow or fast brainwaves. Every person enters that specific brainwave state at the point between waking and sleeping and then again when they emerge from the sleep state into a state of wakefulness.
We also achieve that when we lose track of time while staring at fireplace flames or sunrise, or when we “get in the zone” as an athlete, artist, or other field. It also happens when we find ourselves simply “staring at nothing” and letting our minds become still.
What is the Difference Between Transpersonal
Hypnotherapy and HypnoMeditations?
Transpersonal Hypnotherapy
Transpersonal Hypnotherapy is a counseling or coaching technique that focuses on the spiritual components of an emotional, mental, or physical challenge, not just on the “daily life, daily maintenance” aspects.
A session provides an opportunity for us to meet to discuss something you want to explore or change in your life. Then, we’ll experience a relaxed, focused meditation that is customized to help you overcome a problem we identified or to expand into new ways of thinking and growing. People usually choose to schedule one or more follow-up appointments to reinforce what they’ve learned or to address additional areas of interest. The sessions might include age or “past life” regressions. Click Here for more details about how a session would proceed.
HypnoMeditation
A HypnoMeditation is a customized meditation video or PowerPoint download, using Transpersonal Hypnotherapy techniques for self-hypnosis and habit change. It is based on the issue you want to address or a challenge you want to overcome and uses your words, in part, to create the reality you would like. You may have the script in case you would like to record it in your own voice.
You can enhance the effectiveness by listening daily or right before sleeping for several days. They may be short or long, but they often run about twenty (20) minutes.

National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists
There is more than one group of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists. However, I’m including the LinkedIn “About Us” description of the group under which I received my certifications in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). If you become certified and join an association, like this one, here are some benefits.
“About us
The National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists is the oldest and largest transpersonal hypnotherapy organization in the United States. It maintains an outstanding reputation for certifying and registering professional and clinical hypnotherapists from a variety of backgrounds across the United States and abroad. Focus is placed on continuing education and the unification of professionals who use meditative-trance states as the primary catalyst for creating transformations in the body, mind, and spiritual directions of their clients.”
